Repair of Cracks, Chips, Dullness, and removal of Stains &
Scratches
Marble countertops can lose their beauty over time from everyday use. Etching, scratches, stains, and surface dullness often come from common kitchen items like coffee, wine, citrus, and other acidic foods. These daily exposures gradually wear down the finish and reduce the clarity and shine of natural stone surfaces.
We professionally repair and restore marble countertops using specialized polishing equipment and proven finishing methods that bring back depth, clarity, and a smooth reflective surface similar to when the stone was new. For clients who prefer a softer look, we can also hone the surface to create an elegant matte or low-sheen finish.
Marble Etch Removal
Marble etch removal requires specialized knowledge and equipment. Unlike simple surface scratches, etching damages the crystalline structure of your marble at a microscopic level. Our professional marble polishing process restores the original finish using diamond abrasives and acid-neutralizing compounds.
Complete Marble Repair Services
All of our marble countertop restoration projects include a complete surface refinement process designed to correct common damage and restore the natural beauty of the stone. This typically involves scratch repair, stain removal, etch removal, honing, and polishing to bring back clarity, smoothness, and a consistent finish. We also offer advanced protection options such as anti-etch surface treatments and clear protective film systems to help reduce future staining, etching, and everyday wear. Our goal is not only to restore the appearance of your countertops, but to help protect them so they continue to perform and look their best over time.

Etching is permanent damage to marble caused by acidic substances like wine, lemon juice, vinegar, coffee, and even certain cleaning products. Unlike stains, which sit on the surface, acid actually dissolves the marble's polished surface, leaving dull spots and marks that cannot be wiped away. Once marble is etched, the only fix is professional restoration to re-polish the damaged area.
The Bottom Line: Only Anti-Etch Sealer and Invisible Film protect against acid etching. Standard sealer helps with stains but does not prevent marble etching.
